Besides trying my best to compete in cross-country skiing, I have enjoyed kayaking, camping, bicycling, and general traveling.

I have kayaked mostly in the northeastern USA. In 1978, when the northeast had the infamous Blizzard of '78, I did the Usumacinta River with the Nantahala Outdoor Center.

In 1972 I winter mountaineered in the Wind River Range with the National Outdoor Leadership School (NOLS).

I will be adding more "fluff" in the future and I'll make this page more succinct, too.

I have done several bicycle trips; such as RAGBRAI and FANY.
